I am the Lab Manager for Dr. Gillian McLellan’s lab in the Dept of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences in the School of Medicine and Public Health. Our lab primarily investigates the pathophysiology of the neurodegenerative disease glaucoma and potential treatments for both humans and companion animals (dogs, cats, horses, etc.) that suffer from this disease. I earned my BA in Psychology and MS in Veterinary Science, both at UW-Madison and am currently finishing an MS in Data and Information Science (also at UW). When not in the lab, I enjoy playing with my 2 standard poodles and 2 cats, biking, hiking, and playing bass in a local rock/pop/alternative band.
